Fitness Appraiser Certification
The PFPO provides a week-long course to individuals who are interested in becoming Ontario Police Fitness Award (OPFA) Appraisers. Upon completion, the successful participants, will be appraisers that have the ability to assess the major components of fitness in healthy individuals.
OPFA Pin Program
The Ontario Police Fitness Award (OPFA) Pin Program is a provincial incentive program designed and developed by the Police Fitness Personnel of Ontario (PFPO) to motivate Ontario police officers and police civilian employees to remain physically fit throughout their entire careers.

Fitness Appraiser Certification
The PFPO provides a week-long course to individuals who are interested in becoming Ontario Police Fitness Award (OPFA) Appraisers. The training participants that are eligible to take this course, will have the ability to assess the major components of fitness in healthy individuals, upon successful completion. Participants will receive instruction in how to demonstrate and assess performance during the Ontario Police Fitness Award Pin test and will be able to interpret assessment results based on norms and percentiles for Canadians 15 to 69 years of age.
